The university supports the principles of student self- governance. Student representatives are members of the Scientific Council, the Academic Council of the university, are in charge of some creative clubs, and have their own council in the House of Students. Students have at their disposal a modern Co-working Center.
Students have their own Parliament which represents students' interests in interaction with the University administration. Members of the Student Parliament have the opportunity to openly discuss issues of university life, publish resolutions and voice their vision of youth policy implementation at the university. Ayazhan Kassimova, a 2nd year student of the Foreign Languages Faculty, is the head of the Student Parliament.
You can declare your desire to become a member of the Student Parliament by contacting the Youth Policy Department of the university.
The candidate must have an active civic position, be able to make initiative proposals, justify his/her point of view, be disciplined and successful in studies. The principles of student self-governance are implemented through the work of the Youth Affairs Committee, Debate Club, a branch of the Student Alliance of Kazakhstan, the "Jas Otan" Youth Wing.
Each department has a Youth Affairs Committee, which conducts public events and represents the interests of students, interacting with the faculty administration. The Committee is supervised by the deputy dean for educational work. Every student has the opportunity to become a member of the Committee and to be elected as a Chairman for one year.
The University has a Debate Student Club, where students show their oratorical skills and cultivate leadership qualities. Speaking in the Club, students form a culture of debate. You can apply for participation in the Club by contacting the Youth Policy Department.

University students have the opportunity to join the Alliance of Students of Kazakhstan, which was created to protect the interests of students, strengthening their role in civil society. University students can participate in the activities of the "Jas Otan" Youth wing, which implements the priorities of the "Nur Otan" party in the youth environment of Kazakhstan. The objectives of this association include assistance in the implementation of student initiatives and their promotion in the regional and national authorities.
