The Department of Radiophysics and Electronics trains specialists in the field of semiconductor physics, microprocessor technology, automation of production processes and circuit design of modern devices, as well as in the field of science and technology, which develops methods and devices for excitation, amplification and propagation of electromagnetic signals that carry a semantic load, offers bachelor's degree programs:

Students of the department have the opportunity to study in five trajectories: «Communication networks and switching systems», «Radio Engineering and Electronics», «Thermophysics», «Radiophysics and Electronics», «Control devices and Analysis of substances». The training program includes such relevant disciplines as « Fundamentals of digital and microprocessor technologyһ», «Computer modeling of electronic circuits», « Information protection in telecommunications systems», «Fundamentals of Radio-electronic Equipment Design», «Structural materials of instrument Engineering», «Application of optical quantum generators».
Graduates of the department will be able to work:
- research engineers in higher educational institutions, research institutes, centers of additive technologies and digital development;
- production laboratories;
- specialists of radio and television centers, centers of standardization, metrology and certification, telecommunications companies;
- research physicists in the field of instrumentation, nanotechnology and robotics;
- engineers-adjusters of complex electronic equipment for general purposes.
- Engineers for communication networks and multi-channel telecommunications systems, including optical band and mobile communication systems;
- Specialists in the field of management and marketing in telecommunications.
The department's research interests are related to the study of the dynamics of electronic excitations in condensed matter, the development of new optical materials for photovoltaics, quantum and nanoelectronics, and nonlinear optics.
