Dates and facts

History

In 1996, the department began training students in the specialty “Basic military and physical training” with conferring the qualification of “teacher”.

In 2004, the department began training bachelor’s degree students in the program “Basic military training”.

In 2011, the Master’s degree program in the basic military training was launched.

Students:

112 students study on the programs of the department, 20 of them are holders of an educational grant. Representatives of different regions of Kazakhstan, citizens of Mongolia are among the students.

Employment:

Employment of graduates is on average 80%.

Teachers:

The department employs doctors, candidates, masters of science, holders of “The best teacher of the university” title (professors Ramashov N.R. and Sadykov K.I.)

Accreditation and leadership:

All programs of the department have national accreditation and take worthy positions in national ratings:

- Educational program 5В010400 “Basic military training”: in 2018 – the 2nd place in the IQAA rating, in 2019 – the 2nd place in the IAAR rating and the 1st place in the IQAA rating, in 2020 – the 2nd place in the IAAR rating and the 1st place in the IQAA rating.

- Educational program 6М010400 “Basic military training”: in 2018 – the 1st place in the IQAA rating and the 1st place in the IAAR rating, in 2019 – the 1st place in the IQAA rating and the 1st place in the IAAR rating, in 2020 – the 1st place in the IQAA rating and the 1st place in the IAAR rating.
