From history: CCR has been operating since the early 1980s. The CCR team "КПП" under the leadership of Talgat Tynbayev has repeatedly won the championships of the Republic of Kazakhstan, became the owner of the CCR Cup of the Akim of the Karaganda region, the winner of the Republican CCR festivals, the finalist of the International CCR Championships, was a member of the Higher League of the International CCR Union. University graduates - former members of the "КПП" team Malik Khassenov, Sanat Shapashov and others - played as part of the CCR team of Kazakhstan "Astana.kz", "Kazakhi".

Profile: the university hosts open CCR championships with the participation of faculty teams.

The studio is headed by students on an elective basis.
