History:

The Department of the practical course of the Kazakh language was opened in 1989. The first head of the department was Professor H.M. Nurmukanov. In different years, the department was headed by professor Sh.M. Mazhitaeva, Professor S.R. Ibraev, associate professor T.T. Primbetov, Professor A.S. Adilova, Professor B.M. Aitbayeva. Today, the team is headed by Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Rakhimberlina Sagila Abdigalievna.

Teachers:

Today, the department employs 16 teachers, in particular, 4 associate professors, 12 masters of Philology, Pedagogy and Humanities.

Ph.D., Associate Professor M.K. Zhunusova is the holder of the republican title "The Best university teacher" and was awarded the I. Altynsarin badge. Senior lecturer of the department, M.P.N. A.S. Smailova ‒ laureate of the Professor A.N. Teng Prize. Senior lecturer, M.gum.N. B.S. Sateeva was included in the republican collection «Ozattar-Encyclopedia of excellent students of education» and was awarded a badge.

Educational programs include such subjects as «Kazakh language» (levels A2, B1, B2-1, B2-2), «Document language», «Speech Culture», «Kazakh alphabet in Latin».

The teaching staff cooperates with leading universities of Kazakhstan, such as: Al-Farabi Kazakh 

National University, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Shakarim Semipalatinsk State University. Among the foreign partners are scientific relations with various international educational institutions, in particular, Bashkir State University, Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov.In addition, memoranda of mutual cooperation were signed with the Saransk Humanitarian and Technical College named after Abai Kunanbayev and the KSU «Resource Language Center» of the state institution «Department for the Development of Languages of the Karaganda region».
