FACULTY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES

The Foreign Languages Faculty was founded in 1994. The faculty trains personnel with knowledge of foreign languages for the implementation of pedagogical, scientific, translation activities, namely, it prepares teachers of foreign languages, college teachers, researchers and translators.

The faculty implements bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs, as well as a dual degree program, a joint educational program. Students are encouraged to study English, German, French, Chinese, and Turkish.

Currently, the faculty has 4 departments, which employ about 100 teachers of English, German, French, Chinese, Arabic, Turkish, and Italian languages.

The structure of the faculty includes the Center for Chinese Language and Culture, Research Laboratory for Language Education, Center for Multilingual Education, TOEFL Center - the only accredited examination center in the Karaganda region, holder of certificates for international examinations in English: TOEFL ITP; TOEIC Listening & Reading; TOEIC Speaking & Writing; TOEFL Junior.

Linguaphone and multimedia rooms are at the disposal of students and teachers, a rich fund of fiction and scientific literature, Workshop rooms, Students Hub, student free Wi Fi Zone.
